Thirty years... it’s hard to believe!
Since opening our doors in 1996, Hairazors has been incredibly blessed to be part of the Lake Minnetonka area and surrounding communities. What started as a dream has grown into something that means so much more to us than simply a salon.
Hairazors has always been about people—the guests who walk through our doors, the team members who have shared their talents with us, and the friendships and relationships that have grown along the way. So many of you have truly become part of our Hairazors family.
How long has Hairazors Salon been in business?
Hairazors Salon was established in 1996, and in 2026 we are so proud—and incredibly grateful—to celebrate our 30th Anniversary.
What areas does Hairazors serve?
We are proud to call the Lake Minnetonka area home and to serve guests from throughout our surrounding communities. One of the greatest compliments we could ever receive is having guests continue to choose us year after year—and then send their friends, family, children and loved ones to us as well.
What has made Hairazors successful for 30 years?

For 30 years, our goal has been to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed, cared for and beautiful. We believe in education and growing with our industry, but at the heart of Hairazors has always been genuine connection and taking care of people.
What does 30 years mean to us?
It means 30 years of friendships, conversations, celebrations, life milestones, beautiful hair and countless memories.
We have laughed together, celebrated together and walked through so many seasons of life together. Some of our guests have been with us since the very beginning, and now we have the privilege of caring for their children and even the next generation. There is something incredibly special about that, and we never take it for granted.
What’s next for Hairazors?
As much as we love looking back at the memories, we are just as excited about what is ahead. We look forward to continuing to grow our team, mentor the next generation of stylists and, most importantly, continue taking care of the guests and community who have taken such wonderful care of us.
